Nando's Headquarters // Johannesburg, South Africa
Art was the pretext for the Nando's headquarters. With Nando's owning the largest collection of South African art, it had to be.
One Point Zero thoroughly enjoyed it, but also faced some major challenges in bringing traditional South African design into the 21st century. Travelling as far as London to draw inspiration from the UK based franchises in order to consolidate ideas, concepts and more importantly design and user experience throughout the offices.
Raw, natural and earthiness became the mandate, the filters for all elements integrated into the project. From the structural elements, such as permanent and temporary working spaces, to the kitchen.
Colour and raw elements are clearly visible in every aspect, using natural light to enhance the experience for stakeholders but also draw the eye to the art with the space.
